"Snoopy's Backside" Couloir

The northern mountains received a nice storm overnight however the winds were being their typical destructive self up high.  Several of the weather stations at higher elevations recorded NW winds in the 40's with gusts reaching 70-80mph.  So we needed an aspect which was protected from the winds.....Nailed It..  2+ feet of dry low density POW... the climb up the couloir was a challenge to say the least... but man was it worth it!!!  JAPOW in CO!!

Up slope special! Idaho Springs reported the most snow in the state from a quick little overnight burst.  Thus we loaded up and headed for a nearby Goodie...  Money!
