Illusion Couloir

Southern Colorado gets 3 feet of snow in a few days, quick gather up the kids shack up with friends and Grandma McQuade in a rad house in Ouray.... oh ya and go ski as many pow filled alpine lines and couloirs as your legs can handle over several days!  Once again Kristin and I continue doing what we love... with two kids!...  I feel like a broken record but the two of us are so undeserving blessed ....not to mention our amazing parents and families who spend countless challenging days watching our little dudes while we play!  These memorable trips and days we spend together in the mountains are only possible because of you guys......Thanks so much grandma McQuade for this one!  Cant wait til next years San Juan's trip... it's become a tradition now!

Southeast Couloir

On friday the hoosier pass weather station (11400') reported 39 degrees max temp at 3:00pm.  Saturday forecast was calling for slightly lower temps with a bit of a breeze, thus we decided on a slightly more southern aspect in the alpine.  Again nailed it!
